Gardens by the Bay & Bay South Garden


The new Garden - Bay South Garden will be opened on June 29.

Entry to Bay South will be free, but visitors will have to pay to visit the conservatories.

From 29 June, the garden will be open to the public from 5.00am to 2.00am every day.

Opening hours for the cooled conservatories and the aerial walkway in the Supertree Grove are from 9.00am to 9.00pm daily.

The admission fee to these 2 conservatories is $20/$12/$15 (Adult/Children/Senior Citizen respectively). Non resident rate is $28/$15.

For the Aerial walkway in the Supertree Grove the fee is $5/ $3 (Adult / Children).

Adult wishing to visit these 2 conservatories and Aerial walkway will have to pay $25.00 ( $33 for non-resident ).

The new conservatory is called Cloud Forest conservatory. Its features amountain covered in luscious plants with 30m high waterfall. The other conservatory features all the flowers from cold countries had been opened up as showcase during the last Orchid Show in July 2011. Spanning 101 hectares, Gardens by the Bay comprises three waterfront gardens - Bay South, Bay East and Bay Central. Bay South, the largest at 54 hectares, will officially open in June 2012.

A showcase of horticulture and garden artistry, the Gardens will bring the world of plants to Singapore and present Singapore to the world.



How to go there:
Walk from Sands Expo and Convention Centre via the Garden Bay Bridge on level 4 which connects into the Gardens by the Bay.

Alternatively, if you take bus (No. 97, 97e, 133, 133M & 106) from Suntec Convention Centre, and alights at Marina Sand Hotel. Behind the bus stop takes the lift to level 6, there will connect into the Gardens by the Bay too.

Take note of the access to Gardens by the Bay is closed. Only open to the public in 12 June 2012
