Floor Party III

7 families living on the same floor at Block 46 Owen Road came down to Owen RC Centre on 27 November 2009 for a floor party. Some brought along home-cooked food and drink to celebrate with the rest of the participants. Owen RC have started karaoke singing session for the early birds while the later part of the session is alloted for games session.






This activity provides a good platform for neighbours to come together, interacting with each other and gain better rapport, hence promote, strengthen neigbourliness and inter-racial understanding.

Health Talk Cum Karaoke Singing Session @ CHT SAC

Chung Hua Tong Senior Activity Centre organised her regular Health Talk and Karaoke singing session on a monthly basis at its centre in Block 47 Owen Road. The following activity attended by more than 130 members was held on 21 November 2009. This activity comprising 3 segments:

1. Health Talk by Medical Practitioner.
2. Karaoke Singing
3. Prizes and Goodies cum Lunch Pack

Senior Citizens Week 2009 Celebration

130 Senior Citizens from Owen Residents took an afternoon off to join our RC's Senior Citizens Week Luncheon gathering at Royal Hotel on 22 November 2009. This was an annual event where our Senior Citizens will meet at a cosy place for a buffet steamboat lunch, karaoke singing and chit-chating/interacting with old friends.
