More than 130 residents have participated in the year-end Christmas cum Birthday party organised by Owen RC on 20 December 2009. The programme include nice makan, birthday celebration, karaoke singing, dance performance and lucky draws. The attached pictures show it all....

Swee Choon Tim-sum is an established oldie there for a very long time ago but still a goodie. A perfect place to grab a midnight snack and tea before you head home.

The only gripe is, not all the dishes taste nice. Notable mentions is the very unique Mee Suah Kueh (面线果 / 面线糕).

The other things include: Fried Golden Doufu, Sichuan Chilly Oil Wanton( 四川红油抄手), Japanese Cucumber & Black Fungus Salad, Steamed Chicken with Egg, Carrot Cake, Fried pumpkin cake.....

For me the food there always taste decent and satisfying.

This place offers the usual dim sum stuff and opens till midnight and for sure the place for supper when next time you are in the vicinity.

MP House Visit

RADM (NS) Lui Tuck Yew, Adviser to Tanjong Pagar GRC Grassroots Organisations, had visited residents of Blks 39 and 40 Cambridge Road on Friday 11 December 2009 in the evening from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

More than 600 Grassroots members from Tanjong Pagar GRC are invited for a preview of the Pinnacle @ Duxton on 6 December 2009. With a Tour Guides, members visit the top floor (50th level) for a panoramic view of the surrounding followed by a view of a 4-room show-flat at 45th storey.
