Johor Bahru Shopping & Pasar Malam

Johor Bahru is still a great place to shop with numerous shopping complexes and boasts one of the largest and busiest Pasar Malam or Night Market in Malaysia. When you compare prices in JB and Singapore, you will find that you can get the same item for about half the price - especially if you are looking for fashion items or local goods. There are several shopping malls and hypermarkets in Johor. You can travel by bus easily to Johor Bahru from Singapore. There is one at least every 15 minutes crossing the causeway. Shops and Shopping mall in the city is just adjacent to the customs and immigration checkpoint at Johor.

• JUSCO Tebrau City at Jalan Desa Tebrau, is the largest mall in JB (This is near the Johor Jaya pasar Malam location)
• Plaza Pelangi about 10 minutes drive from the causeway checkpoint.
• The Holiday Plaza at Jalan Dato Sulaiman has shops
• Kompleks Lien Hoe - 5km north of Johor Bahru, just off Jalan Tebrau.
• City Square - located along Jalan Wong Ah Fook at JB city centre
• Johor Bahru Duty Free Complex or ZON
• Plaza Kotaraya – at Jalan Kuning/Jalan Trus
• Pasar Malam (Night Market) - There are night markets all over Johor but the largest and most popular is the once a week (Tuesday) pasar malam at Johor Jaya.

喜欢逛Pasar Malam的朋友。。以上情报可以供你们参考了。。。呵呵。。

This is a must for any visitor to Johor Bahru. There isn't just one Pasar Malam (night market), they pop up in different locations on different days of the week. It's like a nomadic market. Don't plan to head there before 6pm, and go hungry, because there's a lot of food! It is one of the best places to sample a huge variety of local cuisine on the go. There is one near Holiday Plaza (with shopping centre) which takes place on Mondays, and another in Taman Pelangi, which is on a Tuesday. There's another Pasar Malam at Taman Johor Jaya which is about 25 minutes from the city, on Tuesdays. They are not sheltered so be prepared to bring an umbrella if the weather looks threatening.

Pasar Malam Venues Update:
Sunday: Taman Nira (Near Low Piak), Taman Sri Sulong
Monday: Taman Bukit Pasir
Tuesday: Simpang Enam (On the way to Parit Betak), Kampung Bukit Putih, Kampung Istana, Taman Soga
Wednesday: Taman Pantai
Thursday: Jalan Omar old Bus Station
Friday: Rengit, Taman Peri, Peserai
Saturday: Pesta, Seri Gading
