These are the 3rd Quarter Mass Birthday Celebration by Owen RC. 35 members gathered at RC centre on 15 September 2009, with their home-cooked food to share amongs participants in celebrating this ocassion in the usual pot-luck way.

At last, this Singapore Quarry is opened to the public from 5 September 2009. This place was there for many years ago but was closed for some reasons........

This place is located 1 km behind The Rail Mall at Chia Eng Say Road. I had visited this place 2 months ago with some photograph taken herewith for your viewing pleasure.

CLAP! - The Community Life Arts Programme.

CLAP! @ Pek Kio is an one year event hosted by Pek Kio Community Centre Management Committee, its Sub-Committees (WEC, YEC, IAEC, etc), Moulmein Kentville Residents Committee and Moulmein Owen Residents Committee on a monthly rotational basis.

CLAP! @ Pek Kio is held at Pek Kio Food Centre on the last Sunday of the month. This round of CLAP!@ Pek Kio, on Sunday, 30 August 2009 was hosted by Moulmein Owen Residents Committee.

CLAP! provides a platform for whoever has a passion to perform, to share their dreams and to showcase their talents. For the month of August 2009 we include in our programme our local karaoke talents to perform Karaoke Singing, our Grassroots members to perform Mongolian Fan Dance, Burmese and Line Dances etc...
