Moulmein celebrates its National Day Dinner on Saturday, 17 August 2013 at  Pek Kio Community Centre at 21 Gloucester Road.  More than 1600 residents and guests attended this gala dinner with grand  entertainment.  Minister Lui Tuck Yew is the Guest-of-Honour of the event.

 

Schools student from Moulmein Division also put up an very entertaining show as:

. Tai Pei Child care - Mongolian Dance
. Farrer Park Primary School - Hip Hop dance
. Anglo Chinese School (Baker) - Boys' Brigade Band
. San Yu Adventist School - Costume Parade
. Balestier Hill Primary School - Modern Dance Circle
. Raffles Girls Primary School - Choir
. Singapore Chinese Girls' School - Western Chinese Traditional Dance
. Balestier Secondary School - Wushu
. Catholic Junior College - Comtemporary Dance
. National Junior College - Chinese Orchestra (on side Stage) and GuZheng Ensemble.

And external performers includes Malay Singer Rawi from Suria, Indian Singer Balan from Vasantham, Si Chuan Fusion Clothes Changing and local Singer Luo PeiXin. Dennis Chee is the Emcee for the evening.
